The following information outlines how Academy members can join M1 Swimming Club and participate in competitions.
M1 Swimming Club, July 1 to June 30
Every Academy of Swimming member is welcome to join the M1 Swimming Club and it provides a pathway for swimmers wishing to race. Affiliated with Swimming Victoria and Swimming Australia, it allows participation in local and national meets. Once joined, swimmers enter our competition program, where training is tailored for racing. A key benefit is having our coaches observe performances at meets, offering valuable feedback to enhance progress.
Our competitive pathway is focused on developing swimmers who are keen to race and committed to getting the best out of themselves.
As part of the competitive pathway:
- Invited to participate in a swim meet each term (Club membership required)
- Able to attend three Masterclass sessions each term
- Have the option to book 1:1 private coaching sessions with founder, Rodney Skudar
- Welcome to attend Wednesday morning high performance training sessions at CMSP
M1 Swimming Club, Competitive Swimmer Levy
The annual family fee of $200 applies to all current competitive members of M1 Swimming Club for the 2026/27 season. This contribution plays an important role in supporting the costs associated with providing qualified coaches on pool deck at selected swim meets throughout the season. The fee will be automatically charged on the next upcoming direct debit, with reminders issued to members in advance to ensure clear communication and transparency.
