Academy Competitive Pathway & M1 Swimming Club
Our Competitive Pathway, together with membership of M1 Swimming Club, is designed for swimmers who want to race, improve their performance, and reach their full potential in the pool. Just like basketball, netball, or AFL, training develops skills, but competition is where those skills are put into action. Racing provides coaches with valuable insights into each swimmer’s strengths, progress, and areas for improvement while giving swimmers exciting goals to work towards.

Who Can Join & When Should I Join?
Any current Academy member is welcome to join M1 Swimming Club and join at any time, click here
What Is the Commitment?
Most competitive swimmers attend 1 – 2 swim meets per term, with meets typically running for approximately three hours.
- Annual M1 Swimming Club membership fee
- Swim meet entry fees (charged per event entered)
- M1 Swimming Club uniform, click here
- Academy Competitive Swimmer Fee: $200 per family
The Academy Competitive Swimmer Fee helps cover qualified coaches attending selected competitions throughout the year and is automatically added to your next direct debit after joining M1 Swimming Club. Families will receive an email reminder beforehand.
