Academy Junior Fitness Squad Swimming is designed to help young swimmers take the next step after learn-to-swim. Perfect for primary school-aged children, this program focuses on building stroke technique, fitness, and water confidence—without the pressure of competition. Led by experienced coach Rodney Skudar, sessions are held in small groups with a low coach-to-swimmer ratio, allowing for personalised feedback and attention. Swimmers will develop all four competitive strokes through structured drills, skill-based sets, and fun challenges that keep them motivated and engaged. Unlike traditional swim lessons, our squad sessions are tailored to each swimmer’s ability, helping them make real progress in a supportive and energetic environment. Whether your child is swimming for fitness, skill development, or as cross-training for other sports, our program is the ideal pathway forward.

Timetable
The Academy operates 6 days a week, sessions are 60 to 75 minutes in duration, with flexible scheduling letting swimmers switch days or even change between our three amazing locations!

Flexible Membership Options
Swimmers have the option of one session per week, ideal if wishing to swim for fun and fitness OR unlimited sessions per week (most popular option), perfect for those looking to accelerate their progress, improve overall fitness, and gain the full benefits of regular swimming.
