We are absolutely thrilled to share an exciting new chapter for the Academy of Swimming and its members! The Carnegie Memorial Swimming Pool (CMSP) is a newly redeveloped aquatic center located in the heart of Carnegie, a vibrant suburb in Melbourne’s south-eastern region. Officially reopened on January 8, 2025, CMSP combines modern facilities with nostalgic elements, aiming to serve as a premier destination for both competitive and recreational swimming enthusiasts.
Facilities:
- Outdoor 50m Pool: A heated Olympic-sized pool suitable for lap swimming and general use
- Dive Pool: Equipped with diving boards, catering to both beginners and experienced divers.
- Learn to Swim Pool: An indoor pool designed for swimming lessons, featuring a shallow depth for safety.
- Wellness Zone: Includes a warm water pool, spa, sauna, and steam room, providing therapeutic and relaxation options.
- Splash Pad: A fully accessible, shaded water play area with various engaging structures suitable for children of all ages.
- Group Exercise Rooms: Three dedicated spaces offering a variety of fitness classes, including virtual fitness options.
- Café: Provides a selection of hot and cold food and beverages for visitors.
